Another day trip to Margate where I bumped into this lovely lady...

...then went to the Turner Gallery where I met these two ladies at reception and saw the current main installation...

...before, finally, trying to capture some of that amazing Turner-esque light as the sun set...

Wednesday 7 December 2016

I've been trying to get some higher level shots in our indoor shopping mall, Grand Arcade, with the intention of capturing the feeling of constant movement in that area.

Friday 2 December 2016

Not had much time to get out with the camera this week but did manage one short dash around Cambridge.

The Chronophage Clock is probably Cambridge's second most favoured site (after Kings College) for visitors

Reynolds' sweet stall in the market...

...and Jamies.

...and on Saturday, along with three other members of Cambridge Camera Club, I was a guest 'paparazzi' for the evening at the invitation of John Lewis in Cambridge whose Christmas Party had a theme of Hollywood.

Spent Friday night photographing the preview of the Foxton Art Exhibition...

Thursday 17 November 2016

A comparison of the same image, shot yesterday outside Caius (pronounced Keys!) College, one in colour and the other monochrome. Can't decide which I prefer...

Wednesday 26 October 2016

As promised here are a selection of images shot in the last year but not previously published here.

To start here are some shots of the grandkids Jet and Stella...

These two show typical Cambridge landscapes, the first shot on a glorious Summer day and the second on a gloomy Autumn morning.

These next three were shot during our annual trek to the Peak District starting with the gardens at Chatsworth House,

then the Hepworth Museum in Wakefield that is currently exhibiting some of the material from Kettle's Yard while it is being refurbished...

...and, thirdly, Manchester Art Gallery.

While most of you will probably recognise Wells-next-the-Sea...

...Ramsgate may not be so obvious!

Two engrossed ladies spotted at an open air concert at Canary Wharf...

...and to conclude here is a typical Cambridge scene.
